Farewell party
Do you remember the day you first walked into AZIT? You smiled awkwardly, introduced yourself, and struggled to keep a conversation going in an unfamiliar language. Yet somehow, those moments have quietly become some of your most cherished memories. The stranger you met at orientation is now the friend you eat with, take photos with, and don't want to say goodbye to. AZIT's Farewell Party exists to celebrate exactly that to bring every one of those moments together into one unforgettable night, and to give this semester the ending it truly deserves. The Farewell Party is held at the end of every semester, just before exchange students return to their home countries. It is AZIT's largest and most anticipated event of the year, gathering all members Korean students and international exchange students alike under one roof for a final celebration. This is not simply a goodbye. It is a tribute to every field trip, every regular meeting, every late-night conversation, and every friendship that was built across languages and cultures over the past few months.
Halloween Party
Put On Your Costume and Take Over Inha AZIT Halloween Party! When the last day of October approaches, AZIT begins preparing for one of the most extraordinary nights of the year. Witches, zombies, vampires, superheroes, and costumes beyond imagination fill the room as members from across the globe come together for the AZIT Halloween Party. This is not just a party. It is the one night of the semester where every barrier — language, culture, shyness — completely disappears, and all that remains is pure, unfiltered fun. Halloween has its roots in Western culture, but in recent years it has grown into a widely celebrated occasion among young people in Korea as well. What makes AZIT's Halloween Party particularly unique is the diversity of the people in the room. Exchange students bring with them their own traditions and associations with the holiday — American-style trick-or-treating culture, European party traditions, and everything in between — while Korean members bring their own interpretation and energy. The result is a Halloween experience that exists nowhere else: an entirely new kind of celebration born from the collision of cultures, and it can only happen at AZIT.
Weekend Event
Weekends With AZIT — Experience Everything Korea Has to Offer If you are spending your weekends as an exchange student in Korea staying inside your dormitory, you are missing out on more than you realize. Korea is a country where centuries-old palaces stand minutes away from theme parks and rooftop cafés, where every season brings an entirely different landscape, and where the best experiences are often found not in travel guides but in the spontaneous decisions made with good company. AZIT's Weekend Event is a program designed to make sure you never waste a weekend in Korea — and more importantly, that you never have to explore it alone. The Weekend Event is an off-campus activity program held on weekends throughout the semester. Unlike a standard group tour, it is planned and led directly by AZIT's executive team, with the specific goal of giving members a genuine, immersive experience of Korean culture, leisure, history, and daily life. Every destination is chosen with intention, and every outing is structured so that Korean and international members naturally spend time together — traveling side by side, sharing reactions, and building the kind of closeness that is difficult to replicate in a large event setting.

Mini-mate
Making Real Friends in a Club of 300 People There is a paradox that often comes with being part of a large organization: you are surrounded by people, yet somehow still find yourself on the outside looking in. You attend the big events, you smile for the group photos, but at the end of the day you are not sure you have truly connected with anyone. AZIT understands this better than most, and the Mini Mates program was created precisely to solve it. Mini Mates brings members together in small groups for simple, everyday activities — a meal, a café visit, a game of badminton — with one purpose: to give people the space and time to genuinely get to know each other. Mini Mates runs multiple times throughout the semester and is primarily organized around Korean members taking the lead in inviting and welcoming international exchange students into their everyday lives. There is no formal agenda and no pressure to perform. The program is intentionally low-key, because the kind of friendship that lasts is the kind that forms quietly — over a shared plate of food, over a cup of coffee, over a board game that goes on longer than anyone planned. It is in these unhurried, unscripted moments that people stop being acquaintances and start being friends.
General Meeting
The Heartbeat of AZIT — The Event That Brings Everyone Together If there is one event that defines what AZIT is, it is the Regular Meeting. Held three times each semester, the Regular Meeting is the moment when every member of AZIT — Korean students and international exchange students from every corner of the world — gathers in one place at one time. The energy in the room on these nights is unlike anything else the semester has to offer. This is where AZIT's identity is most fully realized, where its purpose becomes tangible, and where the community that has been quietly forming throughout the semester comes visibly, undeniably to life. The Regular Meeting is not simply a social gathering. It serves as the official pulse of the organization — a moment to mark the beginning of a new chapter at the start of the semester, to celebrate what has been built in the middle, and to reflect on a shared journey at the end. The first Regular Meeting of each semester holds particular significance. For exchange students, it is often their very first experience of AZIT, and the impression formed on that night shapes the entire arc of their membership. For this reason, AZIT's executive team dedicates enormous effort to ensuring that the first meeting sets the right tone: welcoming, energetic, and genuinely inclusive from the very first minute.
